Marlboro Township, NJ - For years Gyula "George" Szatman of Tuckerton has been riding with his adorable black and white Boston terrier on a small platform behind the windshield of his motorcycle, but is now considering making a safer place for his little canine buddy to travel. Animal cruelty charges were dropped and Szatman, 56 pleaded guilty to an unsafe driving charge instead. On August 24, Szatman was given a ticket for riding with his Boston terrier, "Bosco" in the rain. Chief law enforcement officer of the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals stated Szatman was transporting the dog in a cruel and inhumane manner.
