New Zealand - Police in Paihia have spoken to gang members passing through the town, to remind them of the rules surrounding the Waitangi Day celebrations in the Far North.
Police established a brief loose cordon around the Caltex service station in Paihia when about 20 members of the Tribesman gang stopped in the town at about noon.
Members of the Rebel motorcycle gang are also in the area, but police said there had been no reports of any trouble.
