Had a special request from a long time BNN member and highly respectible 1%er. Some time on or around November 30, 2007, a girl names Carla Anne Beard was murdered in Anna Marie Island, FL.
Carla Ann Beard was found at the end of 50th St. in Holmes Beach just a few blocks north of the Manatee County Public Beach. It had been there for a few days. A $5000 reward has been offered by the Gold Star Club for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible. Contact here

What's your question? Did the Harley Shop screw with my bike?
Details: I bought an 05 Police Model and it has been a great bike. I recently took it to the local shop for the 15K service. It was running great but I was going on a 1800 mile trip and wanted to make sure all was good. After getting my bike back from the shop I immediately realized that it had lost power. The only thing that I am aware of being changed from the stock police model is that it has a thunder header and had it on when I took it into the shop. Well the bike ran fine on the trip and I haven't had any running issues other that today it ran a little rough until it warmed up, it is pretty cool in the morning now. I am wondering if the shop did something to my bike that I didn't ask them to due such as drop a map or even remove a race tuner I wasn't aware of. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Answers:

  1. You're best out here is to go down to the dealership you had your bike serviced at and ask the service writer if you can talk to the mechanic that worked on your ride. He's the only one who knows what was done to your ride. The sooner the better...as these guys service at least 40 to 50 bikes a week.
