Answers:
- In most situations, kept clean and adjusted, you can expect your drive belt to last 75,000 to 100,000 miles. Dirt and grime are your enemy! By: 47Knuckle-Dragger on: 3-4-2008
- if you dont have the belt guards in place it can cost ya premature belt life.Road debri gets caught in the cogs in the belt and damages the pulley as well as the belt.It can also stretch it.A small price to pay for looking cool I guess. By: dirtyundies on: 3-5-2008
- Another issue is wheel alighnement, The belt must never rub the sides of the pully that will kill the belt in a hurry. By: MarkGoff on: 3-6-2008

- I have 85K on the original belt on my scoot&something else good to know&you can have a pretty damn big hole in the belt (within reason) as long it isnt in the 1/8 from either edge&ANY damage here, you may as well go ahead and change it out& By: bikernerd99 on: 3-7-2008
