oil dip blew off like a rocket why?

- 1. Is this a fresh build?
2. What kind of condition is the crankcase vent in?
3. What's the last thing you did to it before it did this?

- check your vent hose for a kink. Has your bike been sitting up? By: Mark_Goff on: 6-8-2006
- 3 oil tank lines = feed, return and vent. Take cap off oil tank, fire it up and see that you have oil returning to the tank. Vent is plugged... By: kmiller73fx on: 6-8-2006

- i had it happen.i laid bike up for 4 months,went to start it ,oil was low, i topped up oil, went down the road oil came out air cleaner all over engine.remedy when starting up after lay over and oil is low ,dont top up, satart bike first let it run 5 mins ,re check oil and you will find its back to right level.
