keeps fowling plugs have a SS super e been appart 4 times already jeted as low as can jet it still fowling plugs has a tunder jet on it to but on long rides at open trottle shes ok ??

- If your carb is set up right to match your exhaust, you might check the heat range on your plugs, also check output of coil, Just take both plugs out, Turn the bike, I mean mnotor over, should be nice blue spark. Check plug wires for resistance, Make sure air cleaner is open and flowing air. If ya got one of them Kuriakin flapper things use it for an ash tray and get a good aircleaner for go and not show. You should be about a 31 low to 74 main. Call S & S or zippers, follow there recommendations. If your coil 7 wires are good you might have a cylinder going bad.
If you are serious about using the thunderjet Try this:
Pilot 35
Low 70-72
T-Jet 135
air bleed 66
that should do ya!

- Or it amy be as simple as the float is set too high. Low speeds where you don't need as much volume of fuel delivery will make the bike run rich but at high speeds, your bike needs more and it's fine. By: creepinogie on: 7-6-2007
