Power drop/stall at accelleration.

My new dresser and my 1st fuel injected
ride started stalling after 1200 or so miles.It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it really sucks. No advance warning like a cough or fart just a power drop on take off or making a turn. (really sucks on left turn across traffic flow). a few of my friends with 06 FLH's have same problem.
Dealer is aware and says Harley is working on a solution, he blames the ECM. Funny how all my previous carbed bikes never had the problem. dealer says race tuner kit would help but I'm not gonna spend $19k for a new ride and hafta spend another $500 to get it right.BTW bike is stock ElectraGlide. |
Answers:
- There's several things you could check, but I have no idea as to your mechanical skills, or just how stocked your garage is in OEM digital test equipment to plug into your "spanky" new 2006.
