What's your question? I've lost 2nd gear. Had this problem before [at around 35k I have 70k on it now]] and it turned out to be the flimsy snap ring that holds the detent plate in place.
Details: Is there an after market snap ring available that is better than the H.D. one? I'd rather not pull the shifter fork drum if I don't have to.
