put 18 apes on it used harley pre wired harness for throttle by wire throttle now has dead spot at low speed and throttle seems sluggish now possible problem ohms because of length of wire ?

- Yeah, it's possible. They tell us at the dealership not to extend the wires, but to use the factory kit like you did. Some bike have had issues like this, and reflashing the ecm with an updated program seemed to fix it. If your using a power commander or fuelpack, disconnect them and reflash the stock program. If youre using the racer tuner, or super tuner, try reflashing that program again. By: Guest on: 6-4-2009
