  1. if it is a seven inch drum it should be good to go By: MarkGoff on: 9-4-2009

  2. Not so, it's 8" from shoe to shoe. Anyone else? By: Guest on: 9-5-2009

  3. Try Sidecar.com The men on that board have been building and riding sidecars forever. That is where I go for information on my sidecar. By: MarkGoff on: 9-6-2009

  4. You may be able to if you customize an axle. You need to aquire the ID and OD of the axle and hub assembly. Also take into consideration metal to metal contact, may wish to incorporate a bearing set up.I would also try and get smaller brake shoes. This should help. Try using the Restore Your Vintage Harley book for brake DRUM and Shoe dimensions and Cross reference them to fit your make and model. For instance a 1936 JD frame can mount a shovelhead motor without any alterations. Harley's cam setup on a 45 is exactly that of an XL, Harley constantly overlaps engineering designs, whether they know it or not! By: Guest on: 9-13-2009
