Make of Bike: Harley-Davidson
Model of Bike FLHR Road King
Year of Bike 2001
Engine Size 96 CI
Other info on Bike
What's your question? 1999 FLTRI Rear Wheel in place of 2001 FLHR Wheel
Details: I got a laced 1999 Road Glide Rear Wheel in excellent condition and was thinking about using this wheel in place of the 2001 "mag" type wheel on my bike. The H-D dealer said it could not be done as H-D went from tapered bearings to sealed bearings after 1999. So I thought maybe I should ask the REAL experts before I make a wind chime out of the wheel. Respects.
