- '02 FXDX-T. I ride it like I stole it and I live in AZ. Dunlop HD sport compound and I get about 8-9K outa mine. 2 backs to 1 front. It's like, oh well, I could just get a bagger and ride different but...wtf...why? By: Catnip on: 10-5-2010
- Ditto on the Dunlops, they get a little slippery when cornering hard under accel, but wear well... I got about 12K on mine, rode hard... By: Autococker07 on: 10-15-2010
- likewise on dunlops, I tried Metzlers once but they felt a bit squirrely to me( kinda nutty, yeah...!) By: capnbill on: 10-16-2010
- 404 Dunlops. I get about 11 to 12k out of them. The "Harley Davdison" dunlops are scary in the rain but the 404's handel pretty well. If you want good performance the Avons are the shit but you will only get8 to 10 k out of them depending on how you ride. By: sprgld1 on: 10-19-2010
- I have a 04 decker classic, its heavy, and lots of power. all I run is the Dunlop,s they give me a good 19 thou K. I like them. By: ringo on: 10-21-2010

- I am totally sold on Metzler ME880. I ride hard but, I don't do burnouts so, I get 12-14K out of these. By: Guest on: 12-1-2010
- On my '06 Heritage I had a Dunlop on the rear and it made it to 17,000 miles. No one could believe it!!! It was all highway miles and no two up riding. By: Guest on: 12-10-2010
- Run Metzler ME880's. Not just wear well, but the best tire ou there. Handling, running the ton (100 mph), you bike will feel and handle better than stock. For me, Dunlops are a waste of both time and money...Fasst Dan By: FasstDan on: 1-12-2011
- Dunlop is the only motorcycle tire made in the US. I use it and it lasts quite awhile, as long as I stay out of the throttle. Had the last new one on for 9,000 miles so far and still has good tread left. And I don't baby the bike. By: Guest on: 6-6-2012
