What's your question? I read replacing the vacuum piston spring with a spring from the Screaming Eagle 44mm cv (pt# 27728-99) Stock spring tension is 200/290 grams versus 130/210 for the new spring.
Details: Anyone done this - if so does it actually improve throttle response

  2. What works well on one bike may not work as well on another. Take into consideration that a SE is set up different than your ride (special construction). Since it's a fairly cheap part...order one, install it and take it for a test ride. By: 47Knuckle-Dragger on: 11-15-2010

  3. I did this to my TC88 and it improves throttle response. The softer tension of the spring allows it to respond quicker. By: Guest on: 11-15-2010
