  1. I Think you are trying to explain spacing for open belt drive. They make various motor spacers. Ussually trans mounts together By: grizzly08 on: 2-27-2011

  2. you are correct, front pulley on goes in motor plate about 1/4 inch.. u reckon i need an offset pulley for the front to bring it closer to the outboard support... By: toxandkim on: 2-27-2011

  3. Ok you want to mount plate to trans flush, then measure difference between motor & mounting plate. You will need a spacer for that, then install front pulley & rear clutch assembly, then get straight edge such as 2 ft rule & line front & rear by putting rule along side of front & rear pulley, Then measure adapter mount you will need to mount front pulley. All of you aftermarket Co. offer these items mentioned, also Midwest who is an ultima dealer has them. Hope this has helped By: grizzly08 on: 2-28-2011

  4. appreciate it grizzly.... will have to get another spacer for front, kit came with zero offset adapter and I need a quarter inch offset adapter... By: Guest on: 3-1-2011
