What's your question? Main drive gear end plug came out.
Details: Reason seems to be that the needle bearing housing that is underneath the plug has came out a little ways and pushed the plug out. Can I simply drive the bearing housing back into place and put the new plug back in or am I looking at removing the transmission then the main drive gear and having a new bearing pressed in as well? Thank you Mike

Answers:

  1. You can give it a try, but once that bearing has moved, there is no guarantee it won't move again. By: Guest on: 4-6-2011
