Other info on Bike basically stock
What's your question? i would like to upgrade to a 5 or six speed tranny with a kicker if possible but everything i see startes at 86. it always says will not fit 84,85, any suggestions

  1. You can change you access door to the later model. My friend had an 85 FLT and he kept breaking the fingers on the fork that pushes on the throwout bearing. We changed the access door and end cover to the later ball and ramp style. If you did the same, the kicker for the later models will fit. By: Guest on: 3-19-2012
