| What's your question? |
I'm just curious as to how long my ignition coil should last. She's 11 years old (young?) with 165k on her. I changed the wires the other day and figured I may ought to get a coil for GP

Answers:
- I work on 20+ year old bikes that still have the original coils. Look how long the coils in cars last. With 165k on that coil, it's probably a good idea to replace it, just for GP. By: Guest on: 8-23-2012
- A coil is one of those things that might outlive you... It has no moving parts. So long as the case is well sealed and there's no corrosion going on, and as long as it is mechanically secure, there's not much that will kill it. By: Guest on: 8-26-2012
- thanks for the replies, I bought a new one just in case By: capnbill on: 8-26-2012
