What's your question? Chirping sound
Details: When I am decelerating I get a chirping should like a belt is rubbing. the sound is coming from the primary area. I do not get the sound when speeding up or if the clutch is released. Any ideas ??

  1. More than likely it's your belt drive. Put it up on the stand (in neutral), make up a batch of dishsoap and using a toothbrush...scrub both pulleys and the belt. Rinse it off, let it down, check your belt tension [your FSM will tell you how to do that], and take it for a test ride. By: 47Knuckle-Dragger on: 6-16-2006
