If normal,is there a sollution? |
Answers:
- Very possible with a stock engine. With rebuilding the engine to 113ci...expect that 25% increase in engine size to take it's toll on parts that were designed for lesser horsepower.
I suggest you go to geared cams. By: 47Knuckle-Dragger on: 1-11-2007
- May be a little of both. I have an 05 FLHTCUI turns two years old on the 9th of March and just turned 63,000 miles today and NO problem with the motor other than one leaking gasket. Like anything else the parts are man made and subject to failure. By: ropatton on: 3-4-2007
- Just passed 75K and no problems By: ropatton on: 7-9-2007
- Just had to replace teh tensioner shoes at 78,000. Shoe not worn all the way through but beter than half way. Replaced the bearings along with shoes. By: ropatton on: 11-25-2007
