What do you need to know, Psycho? By: 47Knuckle-Dragger on: 1-30-2007
Only time I would consider a weld on hardtail is if the rear of the frame is bent beyond recognition. There are plenty of aftermarket rigid frames that are well built and economical. Why destroy a good frame? Imho the only one who wins is the person selling the weld on kit. You can sell your old swing arm frame for as much as you will pay for a rigid, that is straight and true. With any frame modification you want.
You will have to get a dismantelers title, but if your chopping your going to probably need it anyways. By: Mark_Goff on: 1-31-2007
