  1. i learned a long time ago, never freshen up the top end without also tightening up the bottomend. Blew a 350 Chevy apart doin that years ago.Only a guess, but you have a fresh top end and old worn bottom end? Maybe your new found power is wreakin havoc on your worn bearings and bushings below.
