Arizona - YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - A former Yuma police officer charged with stealing nearly $11,000 in cash from evidence storage last year to support an addiction to prescription drugs entered a plea deal Friday.
In return for Geoffrey Michael Presco pleading guilty to one count of fraudulent schemes and artifices, prosecutors dismissed four other theft and drug charges against him.
