Bikie boss bailed, cops canned
THE newest boss of the Comanchero bikie gang spent a night in custody on a charge a Sydney magistrate could not even bring himself to comment on.
Daux Hohepa Ngakuru, 31, was arrested yesterday after an incident at a premises in Kings Cross at about 11.30pm on Saturday night, when he allegedly intimidated a police officer.
In a media release, police said "investigations into the alleged incident continued", and when Ngakuru was allegedly detected speaking on a mobile phone whilst driving at about 3.20pm yesterday, he was arrested and charged with the intimidation.
Officers told him he would be released on bail if he agreed to a whole host of bail conditions, including one that he not go within 1km of Kings Cross railway station.
