California - PICO RIVERA, Calif.-Three people were killed and seven others injured in a drive-by shooting Saturday evening outside of a Pico Rivera pizza restaurant where a motorcycle group was holding a fundraiser , authorities said.

Ten people gathered in the parking lot of Falcone's Pizza at about 6:45 p.m. were fired upon from a moving vehicle, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Keith Ho.

Three people died at the scene. Seven others were hospitalized in stable condition, Ho said.

The age and gender of the victims were not immediately known. Nobody inside the restaurant was injured.

Investigators were trying to determine whether the shooting was gang related, Ho said. No arrests have been made.

"A car came through an alley and through the street, and they just shot just randomly," Kathy Reyna told KCAL-TV. "And just anybody that was in the way."

A biker group known as the Old School Riders was hosting an event there, according to the organization's Web site. A flyer said security would be provided.

The group's mission is "to enjoy the outdoors and also join together to participate in charitable events." The Web site also said the group is made up of family and friends and no one represents any specifc biker club.

Pico Rivera is about 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles

Thick vs. thin crust, New York v. Chicago, pepperoni vs. sausage...we all saw this coming. I believe there was a truce between these bitter rivals until this latest confrontation. Rumor has it thick crust lovers have been ordered to shoot thin crust lovers on site. All pizza lovers are now being stopped and questioned regarding this incident...those with fat bellies will be taken in for further questioning (which means I'm layin' low).

Holy shit, not the great pizza wars?

I realize we are faceing a resession here but this sounds like things are getting out of control. Pizza shops most be shorting their custemers on pizza toppings or something, may be a disgruntled cutomer, or this may be the begining of the great american pizza wars, yup only in America.
