Hard to believe the site started back in 1997, as the "Outsider's 1%er Biker News" hosted on a public server, with a few articles posted everyday for the handful of bikers who visited.
Then there was the Biker News Network, bikernews.net in various forms which has now grown into the biker community that is is today! From a handful of faithful visitors (Whom most are still around) to the thousands that now visit every day!

Iceland - Police in Keflavík have not taken special measures because of news reporting that Scandinavian Hell's Angels are coming to Iceland to celebrate on New Year's Eve with their prospect chapter here.
"When Hell's Angels come to this country, they are turned back on the border and I assume the same will be done now," said Sigrídur Björk Gudjónsdóttir, Police Commissioner in Sudurnes municipality which polices the Keflavík International Airport, Morgunbladid reported.
Police at Keflavík International Airport follow international events and act accordingly.
"We keep close track on what happens abroad," said Gudjónsdóttir and pointed out that alert had been heightened because of the bomb incident in an aircraft over the US.

I just flew into Boston from Mexico and they had my passport flagged. Came through one checkpoint with no prob, the second they pulled me and my family from the line, asked how we knew each other (WTF? it was my wife and kid)- asked what I ride and if I am gang member. Said "Nope"..which they didn't believe, made comments about another 1% club that I do not belobg to, then sent us to the back of a line of about 200 people. The US has us 1%ers flagged and it pops when your passport is swiped.
it's the Iceland police .. and unless the Bikers are walking thru the airport with their Cuts on How do they even know who is and who isn't a member? if they are that good maybe they should be with Homeland security. besides they seem to already have a chapter IN the country.. these guys were just visiting the new chapter.. sounds like Harrasment to me
