Police in central Finland have seized a large cache of weapons and drugs in Jyväskylä. The seizure includes cocaine, hash, and an UZI submachine gun.
Two 30- and 40-year-old men from Jyväskylä have been arrested and five others questioned in connection with the case.
While investigating a suspected drug-dealing case, they discovered 10 kilos of hash, 80 grams of cocaine, doping agents and several guns. Among these are the UZI, a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition for both.
The cache is significant, since the amount of cocaine seized by police in central Finland usually only amounts to a few grams a year.
