Canada - Two Mounties are facing assault charges after allegedly mixing it up with bikers outside of a Kelowna night club last August.
The two RCMP officers, who were off-duty at the time, were charged for "shoulder-bumping" colour-wearing members of the Hells Angles and Throttle Lockers biker gangs inside the club, provoking a street fight outside.
Cpl. Annie Linteau said Const. Chris MacDonald, of Prince Edward Island, and Const. Kiel Samotej, of Alberta, remain on duty and will make their first appearances in a Kelowna courtroom April 22.
Also charged with assault causing bodily harm is 25-year-old Kelowna resident Errol Milsom-Gardener, for allegedly striking MacDonald, who ended up in hospital.
