Two lawsuits were recently filed in federal court against Hanover Township police.
One involves a father and son who were acquitted in October of charges stemming from two pipe bombs that were detonated in the mailbox of a Langeloth couple. The other, which also involves an off-duty state trooper, was moved from Washington County Court to U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh in January.
James Donohue III, of 13 Margaret St., Imperial; his father, James Donohue II, of 25 Valley Lane, Burgettstown; and cousin Jason Krivak, of 43 Beverley Ave., Burgettstown, are plaintiffs in the suit filed last month against Hanover supervisors Dave Duerr, Nancy Voelker, Al Contume....
