APOPKA, Fla. - An Apopka police officer is in jail after Sanford police say she shot at her husband.
Investigators say Tanya Culver fired shots at her husband around 10 p.m. on Sunday night, at their Sanford home.
When police arrived, they say Culver was in her garage and appeared intoxicated. Neighbors say they heard a lot of commotion going on.
"The only thing that woke me up was when there was police officers knocking on the door next door, then I looked out and saw some cars," said Benji Futrell, who lives nearby.
According to Sanford police, Culver's husband told officers she had been drinking at Bike Week, and she may have also taken prescription pills. Officers arrested Culver in her driveway.
