UK - A police officer wearing his full uniform strip-searched a waitress and groped her in a dark alleyway after spotting her alone while he was on patrol, a court was told.
In what was described as the worst "betrayal of trust" imaginable, Pc Marc Pullen was on an unrelated call when he left his patrol van to stop the woman near Shepherd's Bush underground station in west London in the early hours of December 21, 2008.
Pullen asked the woman, who had been urinating in the alley after a night out, what she was doing and whether she had taken drugs, but seemed to take no notice of her answers, the court heard.
The woman consented to being searched by the officer, assuming she would just be patted down but Pullen, 37, allegedly lifted her arms above her head a....
