Belle Vernon, PA - Stephen Bowers arrested after being spotted on nationwide computer database.
A former Ohio County sheriff's deputy has been arrested by Pennsylvania State Police in Belle Vernon.
According to Marshall County Prosecutor Jeff Cramer, Stephen Bowers was arrested Monday morning after his name was spotted on a nationwide computer database for sex offenders.
Within hours, Bowers was taken into custody and taken to Washington County, Pa., Cramer said.
Bowers was found guilty back in 2003 of three counts of sexual abuse against minors. He was a former little league coach in Glen Dale.
