Hard to believe the site started back in 1997, as the "Outsider's 1%er Biker News" hosted on a public server, with a few articles posted everyday for the handful of bikers who visited.
Then there was the Biker News Network, bikernews.net in various forms which has now grown into the biker community that is is today! From a handful of faithful visitors (Whom most are still around) to the thousands that now visit every day!

NYC - The acting superintendent of the New York State Police announced his retirement Tuesday, becoming the second senior agency official to leave office since it was revealed that the agency had intervened in a domestic abuse case involving a top aide to Gov. David A. Paterson.
Pedro J. Perez, who had assumed the top position after Superintendent Harry S. Corbitt retired last week, had authorized the commander of Mr. Paterson's security detail to contact the woman who had accused the governor's aide of assaulting her last fall, according to people with knowledge of his actions.
Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo is now investigating the actions of the State Police, Mr. Paterson and members of his administration in the case against the aide, David W. Johnson. Mr. Johnson's former....
