Hard to believe the site started back in 1997, as the "Outsider's 1%er Biker News" hosted on a public server, with a few articles posted everyday for the handful of bikers who visited.
Then there was the Biker News Network, bikernews.net in various forms which has now grown into the biker community that is is today! From a handful of faithful visitors (Whom most are still around) to the thousands that now visit every day!

Canada - Criminals given custom-made rings: authorities
A small group of voracious, career criminals arrested over the past two days for smuggling guns and drugs across the Canada-U.S. border had a special way of inducting talented new members: They would present them with a custom-made ring, according to police.
About 300 officers from four police forces in southern Ontario were looking for the distinctive jewellery when they executed 28 Criminal Code search warrants on homes and businesses as part of an anti-gun operation announced yesterday.
Police arrested 22 people around Toronto and Windsor and recovered 15 powerful handguns that had been legally purchased in Kentucky, before being smuggled into Canada at the Detroit-Windsor border, authorities said.
