Welcome to our 13th year on the web!
Hard to believe the site started back in 1997, as the "Outsider's 1%er Biker News" hosted on a public server, with a few articles posted everyday for the handful of bikers who visited.
Then there was the Biker News Network, bikernews.net in various forms which has now grown into the biker community that is is today! From a handful of faithful visitors (Whom most are still around) to the thousands that now visit every day!

New Zealand - A gang charity motorcycle event in the Nelson area seems to have gone smoothly.
The local Southern Skinheads gang had threatened to attack Hells Angels members if they turned out for the Poker Run ride from Nelson to Tapawera and back.
The Southern Skinheads reportedly believed the Hells Angels would bring drugs with them, including P. The Skinheads had allegedly threatened to fire shots and burn down bars and clubs. Nelson Mayor Kerry Marshall said he was confident police were on top of the situation and a police operation was put in place to deal with any possible violence.
A spokesman says the event was under control throughout Saturday afternoon.
Nelson City councillors said there had been no trouble in the centre of Nelson or in nearby Stoke.

So, there was no trouble, no dramas, no shots fired, and no money raised for ANY charity? It sorta makes me wonder who put this bullshit out in the first place? was it really the so-called southern skinheads or more media driven propoganda against MC`s. Whoever it was I hope they feel stupid with the negative result.
