Hard to believe the site started back in 1997, as the "Outsider's 1%er Biker News" hosted on a public server, with a few articles posted everyday for the handful of bikers who visited.
Then there was the Biker News Network, bikernews.net in various forms which has now grown into the biker community that is is today! From a handful of faithful visitors (Whom most are still around) to the thousands that now visit every day!

North Carolina - ~Veterans announce location for reunion and traveling memorial wall~
For the past few months the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America has tried to find a location for its upcoming reunion. Now the group has found a place in Mount Airy and has made plans to bring in the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall.
The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1021 will host a veterans reunion from June 10 to 14 at the old Bassett Furniture factory location on Sheep Farm Road. The veterans group has teamed up with Cruise In For Christ to bring a traveling smaller-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to the reunion.
The traveling wall will be escorted into Mount Airy on June 9 by Rolling Thunder, the official motorcycle club of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA)....
