SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio police said a driver was beaten by members of a biker club Saturday after allegedly running two of them off Loop 410.
The driver was accused of running them off near the Somerset Road exit. Police said fellow bikers then started chasing the man's car to a Valero gas station off Loop 410 and Old Pearsall Road.
The driver got out of his car and told police he was beaten by the motorcycle riders.
One biker was detained; police said he admitted to the beaten, saying the bikers were protecting themselves.
The driver told police he didn't know he ran anyone off the road.
There was no word Saturday whether anyone would face charges, or whether the bikers who were run off the road were seriously hurt.
