Australia - Six arrests follow bikie gang raid and bar attack

Police have charged six people following a raid on the Coffin Cheater's headquarters this week as part of investigations into an assault at a Bunbury bar.

A crowd controller on duty at Bunbury's Fitzgerald's Irish Bar was allegedly assaulted by two people following an argument on May 9.

He was knocked unconscious and received a cut to his lip.

Police raided the Bunbury headquarters of the Coffin Cheaters bikie gang on Wednesday and made two arrests, including a 30-year-old man from Bunbury who has been charged with two counts of assault, threats to intimidate, unlawful possession, possess prohibited weapon and possess prohibited substance.

Police also charged a 31-year-old man from Australind with assault occasioning bodily harm.

Both men are due to appear in Bunbury Magistrate's Court next Wednesday.

Yesterday police made four further arrests, including a 32-year-old Bunbury man who will face court on a charge of possessing a prohibited drug.

A 46-year-old man from Dardanup was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and a 32-year-old man from Bunbury was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and intent to sell or supply.

Police also charged a woman, 32, from Bunbury with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possess stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property, Possess Prohibited Weapon and Possess Smoking Implement.

All four are due to appear in Bunbury Magistrate's Court on next Tuesday.

In a separate incident on May 24 at Fitzgerald's Irish Bar a man was allegedly assaulted and suffered lacerations and swelling to his face.

A police officer who attended the scene was allegedly pushed to the chest while conducting inquiries.

As a result police charged a 29-year-old Bunbury man was charged with assaulting a public officer.

A 34-year-old man also from Bunbury was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

Both appeared in court on May 26.
