What's your question? OIL COOLER
Details: Ok I installed a PRE FORM OIL FILTER COOLER KIT it is installed per imstructions but now my oil pressure has spiked I’m thinking it might be the back valve any thoughts out there

Post an answer

Answers:

  1. Well, the obvious would be that it's hooked up backwards. The filter has a valve in it, different filter & valve for different models, sure you have the right one? post what you find. By: Guest on: 11-15-2009

  2. Also check and make sure you have the correct oil filter - TC oil filter will NOT work on an EVO motor. Also, some models require an adapter where the oil filter is mounted . . . By: Guest on: 11-15-2009

  3. Clarification - Some oil cooler KITS require an adapter to be installed where your oil filter originally mounted. By: Guest on: 11-15-2009
