What's your question? i put new mufflers on this thing will it affect the MAP or the computer if i take the baffles out?

  1. No! Nothing will effect the MAP or computer other than a lightening strike directly to the frame or an actual computerized change.

    If you're referring to performance; a change to the exhaust alone doesn't usually effect performance unless you put on drag pipes...or pull the baffles out completely. In that case you'll find that the power in the low and mid-range suffers just a bit and the bike sounds like SHIT and annoys your neighbors!

    If, after you strip out the baffles and decide to add on a less restrictive air cleaner, then it would be a good idea to have it remapped.
