Motorcycle clubs to be honored at ribbon-cutting c
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set to start at noon Saturday for a new garage furnished by five local motorcycle groups for the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson.
The ceremony will take place at the home at 4605 Belton Highway in Anderson.
The motorcycle clubs involved are Teufelshunde, Hardwood Crusiers, Hardwood Cruisers Anderson, Hard Knox and Confederates. They will receive plaques for their hard work and dedication in helping the veterans at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. Kit Sanders also will receive a plaque for the work he has done in the last three years for the veterans, including the "You Are Not Forgotten" run each Veterans Day.
