Jailed former judge's associate had links with dru
A FORMER District Court judge's associate, jailed last year on one count of fraud and 23 counts of the unlawful use of a government computer, had close personal relationships and dealings with drug traffickers and organised crime and an outlaw motorcycle gang.
A Corruption and Crime Commission report, tabled in State Parliament today, raised serious concerns about the way court staff were hired and computer access procedures.
In the report the associate is referred to as Ms A.
But late last year it was publicised that the associate's name was Bree Michelle Rhatigan, 29, of Doubleview, and that she had accessed information regarding her friends and associates on the WA prisoner database and the Magistrate Court database between February and May, 2009.
