New Jersey - ~ State trooper from Fredon charged with buying heroin ~ A New Jersey state trooper and a Newark resident were indicted Tuesday on charges related to a heroin transaction in Newark in January.
A state grand jury handed up an indictment that charges suspended State Trooper Jason J. Hanrahan, 32, of Fredon, with possession of less than a half-ounce of heroin on Jan. 15.
The indictment further charges Jamal Karon Bell, 33, of Newark, with heroin possession, distribution of heroin
