An Orange County sheriff's deputy who worked in court security duty was told to turn in his gun and badge on Tuesday.
Rick Truhan was suspended after the department found out he is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Internal Revenue Service.
He has worked part time for the department for the past year.
