Seattle, Washington - ~ Jail guard fired for suspected sexual contact with inmate ~ A Kitsap County jail guard was fired Monday after an investigation showed probable cause he'd had "sexual contact" with a female inmate while she was incarcerated, as well as contact with a former female inmate outside jail, a Kitsap County Sheriff's spokesman said.
Sheriff's policies restrict officers from having a personal relationship or associating with former jail inmates.
