105 year old takes first motorcycle ride (vid)
RICHMOND HILL, GA (WTOC) - What a ride in Richmond Hill Friday. And, it was worth the wait for 105-year-old Ella Passmore, who had two wishes. One of them, to take her first motorcycle ride. So family and staff at the Bryan County Health & Rehabilitation Center made that wish come true. Complete with a police escort, Ms. Ella rode behind a blue-eyed man, at her request, from the nursing facility to City Hall, where she was greeted by Mayor Harold Fowler. Then she and Elton Stafford, who was her rider along the historic route, headed back along Highway 144 and returned back home.
