  1. i remember you're question before, i guess you have'nt gotten it fixed, let me throw an old answer, i ran into a oil return problem in 71'...went through the oil pump gears, breather timing, everything was right, well my bro put a chrome fitting on his return line going back into the oil tank, the internal size of the fitting was to small to allow the oil being pump back to all enter the tank. it would back up after about 10 minutes and start puking out the breather, your oil pressure numbers sound OK...make sure all your lines and fittings are as big or bigger on the inside than the old stock ones......sorry for the long story By: Guest on: 4-25-2009

  2. the oil pressure looks fine, the reality is you need to put a scavenge line in the crank case, most oil pumps have a port that can be used for this and it is fairly simple, this style of bearing that is used in harleys dont really hold pressure it more about flow, and usually if a rider dont log many miles that will cause seapage into the bottom case and your engine will move it out and you are going to that if you dont have a scavage line on there, there is also fancy oil chach ?? that after market people make that look cool and can be installed,, but I prefer to go with a system that puts back into the oil tank.. good luck,, popping by your local scooter shop also might help to lead in the right direction..
