Michigan - ~Bay City biker awaiting sentencing can reclaim Harley seized by Marshals~
A member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club might be headed to federal prison but he won't have to forfeit his Harley.
Kim "Moe" Galaviz struck a deal with prosecutors allowing Galaviz to buy back his 1998 Harley Davidson from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Marshals claimed Galaviz used the bike as a "conveyance to facilitate drug trafficking," court records show.
Galaviz, who pleaded guilty to distributing cocaine, must pay the agency $2,000, due upon his sentencing Jan. 14, records show.
Galaviz is one of three club members whose sentencing hearings this week were adjourned until January.
Leroy Frasier, former president of the Bay City chapter and the gang's Black Region of Michigan and Indiana, pleaded to conspiracy to commit assault with a dangerous weapon.
Danny "Milky" Neace pleaded to assault with a dangerous weapon.
Neace will be sentenced Jan. 12, Frasier on Jan. 14.
The charges stem from a 2007 sting of violent motorcycle gangs.
