Had a special request from a long time BNN member and highly respectible 1%er. Some time on or around November 30, 2007, a girl names Carla Anne Beard was murdered in Anna Marie Island, FL.
Carla Ann Beard was found at the end of 50th St. in Holmes Beach just a few blocks north of the Manatee County Public Beach. It had been there for a few days. A $5000 reward has been offered by the Gold Star Club for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.

Check this out before you buy the new 2007 Harleys. I have spent over 1500.oo myself to get this worked out. The best part was to get a Harley Race Tuner and then some Screaming Eagles slip-on Mufflers 05-06 and have it remaped. Then a stage one kit. They still have a problem with Heat off the motor but I bought some Heat Shields from :shamrockride.net and they did the trick. You can get the ones without police on them folks. Now I don't have to stand up in Heavy Traffic. Harley is doing a Ecm Calibaration upgrade(product program 0903) but it still doesn't help the heat. Hope this helps!

I read this post on the engine temp and not sure where this person lives are what kind of heat problems he is having. But I do know that normal operating temp is 235 degrees. Also any Bike will get hotter if they are idling and this depends on where you live as well. Weather being a factor. I also suggest all Harley's not just one, install the engine oil cooler kit. A must for Riders that live in hot heat areas. I have also learned that a fuel injected bike will get hotter than a carburetor bike, simply because of it being to lean. I feel that Harley Davidson needs to hold up to all factors that are being found in the twin cam engine. The 07 96 bikes claims to have a better oiling system. I have found out that nothing is better than the new fueling oil pump. May have mispelled the word. S&S also has the best parts. Not Harley. To make a 104 out of the new 96 engine is simple. Just change the jugs to the older kit to make a 95 out of the TC88. Using the proper pistons. I look for more problems to arouse in these new 07 Harley's yet. Never buy the first ones that come out. Wait for the up grades of this engine as they learn more. Such as they did with the TC88 engine.
