Hells Angels sue the city of Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam Hells Angels are suing the city of Amsterdam. This is the result of the municipality's order to tear down the clubhouse within 8 weeks. If the requirement is not met, the municipality imposes a fine of 142,500 euros on them
According to the city, the housing of motorcyclists does not fit into the future building plans, and as a result they can't build a new clubhouse anywhere in the city.
The Hells Angels refused to yield to the demand, says lawyer Huib Struycken on Friday. They can object, but they have to demolish the clubhouse before the deadline, whatever the final decision on the subject is.
